Richard Gallo and His Dog, at Petit Gennevilliers, 1884

Richard Gallo and His Dog, at Petit Gennevilliers, 1884

Gustave Caillebotte

Little is known about Richard Gallo other than he was the son of a French banker who was born in 1849 in Alexandria, Egypt, but lived and was educated in Paris. While studying in Paris as a young man, Gallo went to school with Caillebotte. They were close friends and Caillebotte painted him a lot through his life.

The painting will be delivered unstreched, rolled in protective & presentable case.
