Pierre Auguste Renoir

Rooms in Renoir home were with spectacular flower arrangements. All the models who lived with the family developed an interest in flower arranging, and could quickly conjure up an artistic display for Renoir to paint. "Painting flowers is a form of relaxation", he would say. "I don`t need the concentration that I have to have when I`m faced with a model". He also discovered that flower paintings were much the easiest to sell. Da Caen anemones were a favourite subject for his paintings.
